Autumn leaves

I just love walking through drifts of autumn leaves, and, if nobody is around, kicking them up as you walk through them. Seeing the cascades of bronze, red, orange, brown and the occasional green leaf drifting back down to earth is one of those unmeasurable pleasures that cost nothing, but the memory stays with you. It was an added bonus to find some fungi - I wish I knew enough about them to enable me to tell if they were edible - because they certainly were nice specimens.
